A word from our President

When you hear the words, "Your child has cancer," your world is forever changed. The fear, anxiety, and feelings of isolation scream so loudly, they quickly drown out any thoughts of normalcy that your family had known just days or even hours before.

You are not alone.

I know that anguish first hand because it happened to my son; to my family. The fact is, many families can tenderly identify with the pain that comes from hearing, "Your child has cancer."

KidsCan of Minnesota is a non-profit organization that seeks to assist families in joining our journeys to share our fears, triumphs, and experiences to help each other through an incredibly difficult time. One of the biggest gifts we received was other families who could relate to our fears.

Support comes from many avenues, and KidsCan encourages all who are touched by this disease to register, share in the healing, and become part of the KidsCan family. By registering as a user of our site, you will be able to connect with others who have or are traveling the journey.
